A blog about a college girl!
"The light is pleasant, and it is good for the eyes to see the sunshine." Ecclesiastes 11:7
You know your sister is your Valentine when you see a cute selfie of her and miss her. Being separated from your true love stinks… :(
I’m really laying it all out on the line here guys. Amidst taking selfies a few months ago, I discovered that I am the Kool-Aid man. As horrific as that is, I’m secretly kind of proud. Disclaimer: It was extremely painful to contort my face this way. Couldn’t chew for hours. Jk..dramatization.
If you know anything about me, you definitely revere me as a cinemas authority. Hahahaha I’m totally kidding. I just own A-LOT of movies. Nevertheless, there are three movies I have watched since college that have become my favorites. And if I could BEG you to watch only three movies, here they are.
I love this. You can just be you and live your life. You don’t have to be constantly seeking someone else. Just work on you and your person will find you along the way.
To all of the boys scratching their heads about the appropriate spending level for Valentines Day, I like to tell guys to follow Michael Scott’s motto about presents: “When buying presents, it’s a tangible way to say, Hey man! I love you this many dollars worth.”
Girls know how much the Valentines paraphernalia costs….So don’t think buying us the ten dollar box of chocolate is going to fool anybody. If you’re going to buy into Valentine’s Day at all you have to get the biggest box of chocolate. It’s like you’re telling us: “Hey babe, I got you all Wal-Mart has to offer this year.” And at the same time, you’re implying we’re skinny enough to eat twenty dollars worth of sub-par chocolate.
Girls, you’re welcome.
My little sister is wonderful. We have conversations that would seem strange to most people, but are completely ordinary for us.
