A blog about a college girl!
"The light is pleasant, and it is good for the eyes to see the sunshine." Ecclesiastes 11:7
I was thinking about this the other day. Alot of the time I find myself too eager to speak, and not as willing to listen. I want others to listen to me when I speak, but don’t always do the best job of listening to others. We can learn alot from listening and shutting up.
Once I came to college, I actually lost a little bit of weight. So the baby fat in my cheeks went away and turned my dimples into ginormous craters. And come to find out, dimples are actually a facial muscle deformity. Great. That’s just what I needed to hear! Doesn’t the universe know that I will only take this information and blow it way out of proportion? Guess not.
Everyone has their own things that they do that give them their “umph”. I realized this once I quit playing sports in highschool. I had absolutely nothing to do anymore. I sat around at home watching TV all day. (Which does NOT count as a hobby) When I came to the realization that I was a boring person, I decided to get some hobbies. So slowly but surely, I tried many things, and realized what I liked.
You know your sister is your Valentine when you see a cute selfie of her and miss her. Being separated from your true love stinks… :(
I’m really laying it all out on the line here guys. Amidst taking selfies a few months ago, I discovered that I am the Kool-Aid man. As horrific as that is, I’m secretly kind of proud. Disclaimer: It was extremely painful to contort my face this way. Couldn’t chew for hours. Jk..dramatization.
If you know anything about me, you definitely revere me as a cinemas authority. Hahahaha I’m totally kidding. I just own A-LOT of movies. Nevertheless, there are three movies I have watched since college that have become my favorites. And if I could BEG you to watch only three movies, here they are.
